Our coffee beans begin their journey in the Kintamani region of Bali, Indonesia. The beans are grown on organic smallholder farms and handpicked from the volcanic soil at an altitude of 5,300 feet! This soil produces beans that are rich with minerals and nutrients.
Each worker at these small farms are paid fair wages and work under ethical regionally accepted conditions. From Bali, the freshly picked coffee beans are sent to sunny Southern California to be roasted. Our beans are then roasted the day you place your order and immediately packaged to ensure that the bold chocolate molasses flavor notes are captured at their peak freshness!
The packaging and labels we use are both made out of 100% recyclable kraft paper. So when you finish your coffee you can feel guilt free about your impact on the environment!
-No synthetic fertilizers or chemicals are used when growing our organic coffee. This ensures cleaner beans, air, and water.
-Sourced from volcanic loam soil in the village of Kintamani, our coffee displays unique flavor characteristics that can only be found in this region.
HIGH ALTITUDE (5,300')
-Cooler temperatures at higher altitudes slow down the growth rate of the coffee plant. This slower rate allows the plant to focus more energy to bean production which produces more of the sugars that create the amazing flavor notes in our coffee
