Our coffee beans begin their journey in the Kintamani region of Bali, Indonesia. The beans are grown on organic smallholder farms and handpicked from the volcanic soil at an altitude of 1600 meters! This soil produces beans that are rich with minerals and nutrients.
Each worker at these small farms are paid fair wages and work under ethical regionally accepted conditions. From Bali, the freshly picked coffee beans are sent to sunny Southern California to be roasted. Our beans are then roasted the day you place your order and immediately packaged to ensure that the bold chocolate molasses flavor notes are captured at their peak freshness!
The packaging and labels we use are both made out of 100% recyclable kraft paper. So when you finish your coffee you can feel guilt free about your impact on the environment!
