Background Story:
I took this photo while on a hiking trip with my best friends last summer. We were exhausted from a long day on the trail, but we still rushed to the top of the mountain to catch the sunset. When we finally arrived the view from the top was breathtaking. We had a complete 360 unobstructed panoramic view of the entire Blue Ridge Mountain Range! As the sun slowly tucked behind the mountains, it's colors began to spread and glow orange. The colors were intense, but the air was silent. At this moment I captured the photo above. Every time I look at this photo it takes me back to this moment of peace and joy. My hope is that you will enjoy these same sensations every time you see it too.
